Trend: Jenewein Group is a professional partner of the Family Business series
Family Businesses make up an important part of the economy in almost every country, and this is true across all industries and sectors. At Jenewein Group, also through our own family experience, we understand the specifics of the Family Business. We have been providing consulting for Private and Family Companies since our establishment in 1990, and we combine a unique portfolio of services in this area in the Czech-Slovak platform Jenewein.private. The extensive experience of our expert team has been applied several times in the partnership with various events, seminars or studies. Almost regularly we are a professional partner of the weekly magazine Trend's Family Business series dedicated to the stories of successful Slovak family businesses and related topical issues. In this year's autumn series, we entered into professional cooperation with ČSOB Advisory, nebotra and Ružička and Partners, while on behalf of Jenewein Group, we have written several topics in addition to the Jenewein.private platform introducing.

How to find a suitable director for your Family Company (M. Krekáč, online)...
The future of Family Offices is here today (M. Taliga, Trend 46/2019)...

Matej Taliga spoke about Family Business at the University of Economics in Bratislava
Working with students not only pleases us but also commits us. We're happy when our cooperation is mutually inspiring. Just like the lecture of Matej Taliga, COO & Private Client Partner at the University of Economics in Bratislava, with whom he presented to third-year students as part of the Family Business course. For Matej, it was a meeting that he values more than others as the University of Economics in Bratislava is his parent university.
We celebrated forty years of Meky's successful solo career
Czech-Slovak consulting group Jenewein Group will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary. And the legend of Czech-Slovak pop music Miro Žbirka celebrated forty years of his successful solo career at the end of the year with concerts in London, Prague, and Bratislava, which we didn't miss. We enjoyed his greatest hits and songs from the new Double Album live with English musician stars and other exclusive home and foreign guests. It was great music and visual experience, thank you!
Advent trip to Berlin as the beginning of our 30th anniversary celebration
In the year of the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, which is closely related to the upcoming thirtieth anniversary of Jenewein Group (Amrop Jenewein, Fipra, and EPPP), which we will celebrate in early 2020, the choice of our pre-Christmas trip was more or less clear – we went to Berlin, divided by the Berlin Wall for many years, the fall of which started the unification of a divided Europe and the freedom of entrepreneurship. This turning point was also important for the establishment of Jenewein Group in Czechoslovakia. That's why we decided to spend a couple of Advent days with all the respect, gratitude and happiness together in this amazing, modern and inspiring city.

Igor Šulík spoke at Amrop Leaders Talk 2019
The traditional Amrop Leaders Talk event took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia at the end of 2019. It was hosted by colleagues from Amrop Adria operating in the Adriatic region. The main topic of the meeting was the latest knowledge from neuroscience and the possibilities of their use in the field of leadership. Discussions have been made on how to beat certain prejudices that we often do not even know about, and about what we need to learn to use our brain much more effectively. In Amrop Slovakia, this topic is the domain of Igor Šulík, Managing Leadership Partner, who was the main guest of the event together with prof. Aljoš Valentinčič.

Fipra Slovakia was a partner of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of November 1989 in Brussels
The consulting company Fipra Slovakia became one of the main partners of the Czech-Slovak Day, which took place in Brussels on November 21 and 22, 2019, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of November 1989. The event, which is intended primarily for the Czech-Slovak community in Brussels, including the diplomatic corps and staff of the EU institutions, was held under the auspices of the Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic to the EU Peter Javorčík together with Jakub Dürr, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the EU. The highlight of the celebrations was a theater performance The Beggar's Opera by Václav Havel performed by the Slovak Chamber Theater from Martin. This choice was more than symbolic: an adaptation of the play of the last Czechoslovak president in the study of the Slovak theater company.

Thank you that we can. Concert in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution
On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, we were delighted to accept the invitation to a gala concert Thank you that we can, where the protagonists of November '89 participated. The main message of the event was to thank personalities and people from the November squares. Most of them were with us in the hall, on the stage or in the auditorium. Ladislav Snopko, one of the grandstands of November 1989, was the dramaturge of the official evening with a program that brought together people usually performing on different scenes. The celebrations of this important event in Czech-Slovak history are also special for us and we consider their legacy to be very important. On November 16, 2019, in the Historical Building of the Slovak National Theater, this was emphasized not only in the speech by the President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová and many other speakers but also in several songs performed on the squares thirty years ago – Milan Lasica, Meky Žbirka, Dušan Valúch, Michael Kocáb, and Vladimír Merta were among the performing artists.
We enjoyed St. Martin's goose in Slovenský Grob again this year
For several years, our favorite autumn day has been the feast of St. Martin and the Czech-Slovak sitting in the Pivnica U Zlatej Husi in Slovenský Grob held in its honor. We are traditionally looking forward to the invitation from our chairman, and so it was like that again. On Friday, November 15, 2019, both the Prague and Bratislava offices met in the real goose kingdom – in the family restaurant of the Jajcay family, where the recipe for the baked goose was given over to the fourth generation. We thank Martin Krekáč for pleasant moments spent alongside St. Martin's goose and other delicacies.
Amrop University Campus Session in Stockholm
This year’s traditional Amrop University Campus Session intended primarily for researchers and consultants – project implementers, was held from October 17 to October 20, 2019, in Stockholm. Mostly young people from all over the world were also involved in the Code of Talent as part of the program – they had already chosen different missions to complete while preparing for the meeting. They spent one day at a workshop in Hyper Island – one of the best coworking spaces in Europe, one of the best digital business schools in consulting and information technology. The program of the second day was filled with internal presentations focused on the direction and future of the global Amrop. The meeting enabled participants to know not only how other offices in the world work, but also to compare everyday work commitment to project solutions. "We learned how to work with ideas, how to shape and put them into practice, and how to work more in business mode", one of them said.
